USAGE
  1. Persons using the CLIFTON ON SEA website for tours, accommodation or transport bookings (Travel Plan), or any other reason whatsoever, subject themselves to the terms and conditions and privacy policy of CLIFTON ON SEA as set out below.
  2. This website is only intended to provide the user with information regarding CLIFTON ON SEA and its products and services. CLIFTON ON SEA expressly reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to alter or amend any criteria or information set out in this website without notice.
  3. Nothing on this website shall be construed as an offer by CLIFTON ON SEA to you, the user, it is merely an invitation to do business.
OWNERSHIP & COPYRIGHT
  1. The copyright in all information, material and logos vesting in CLIFTON ON SEA shall continue to vest in CLIFTON ON SEA and no right, title or interest in any proprietary material or information contained in this website is granted to you hereunder.

TOUR AND BOOKING VERIFICATIONS
  1. Your travel plans will be personally verified by a trained CLIFTON ON SEA consultant. They will verify and confirm the availability and prices of your preferred travel plan.
  2. You will receive a unique client verification number by e-mail that will allow you keep track of your booking request. This verification number is valid for a 72-hour period after it has been issued.
  3. The total cost of your travel plan is subject to fluctuations in accommodation, transport, tour, airfare and exchange rates until full payment has been received by CLIFTON ON SEA.
  4. 10. Verified travel plan costs may also change if you amend your travel plan. See more under PAYMENT.
PAYMENT
  1. The total cost of the verified travel plan is payable within 72-hours after acceptance of the verified travel plan. Your confirmation of acceptance of the verified travel plan can be done at the CLIFTON ON SEA Checkout page.
PRIVACY AND PAYMENT SECURITY
  1. CLIFTON ON SEA are serious about keeping any information about you (including credit card information) secure and confidential. See our Privacy Policy at: http://cliftononsea.co.za/privacy.php
  2. Your complete credit card number is never stored on our servers or databases. We only store the first and last four digits of your credit card. This prevents anyone from using your credit card without the proper authorisation, but it still allows us to keep track of the payment made with the card.
PASSPORTS, VISAS & TRAVEL INSURANCE
  1. CLIFTON ON SEA strongly recommends that you have comprehensive travel insurance, including full medical, cancellation, and curtailment cover whenever you travel.
  2. It is your responsibility to ensure that your passport is valid for travel and that you are in possession of valid visas for all the countries that you are visiting.
  3. It is also your responsibility to ensure that all the necessary health certificates for the countries you plan to visit are in order.
CANCELLATION OR CHANGING RESERVATIONS
  1. Persons using the CLIFTON ON SEA website for travel bookings will incur the following penalties for any cancellations or changes to travel bookings made through the CLIFTON ON SEA website:
    1. The following cancellation fees are applicable and will be calculated from the total cost of the confirmed travel plan:
      1. 30+ days notice: 25%
      2. 30 to 15 days notice: 50%
      3. 14 to 0 days notice: 100%
    2. If a confirmed travel plan is changed or amended, CLIFTON ON SEA reserves the right to charge a maximum of 2% on the total value of the changed or amended travel plan.
    For all vacation accommodation booked:
    1. On acceptance of the quote, a 50% non refundable deposit is to be paid within 48 hours either via electronic transfer of credit card (plus a handling fee of 4%).
    2. The remainder of the amount is to be paid on the first day of the holiday rental in Rands.
    3. All booking cancellations received after deposit has been received carry a 100% cancellation fee.
CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS
  1. This website may include technical or other inaccuracies or typographical errors. Changes and amendments are periodically made to the information herein and these changes will be incorporated in any new editions of this website. CLIFTON ON SEA reserves the right to make improvements and/or changes or amendments to this website at any time.
  2. CLIFTON ON SEA reserves the right to change and amend the prices and rates quoted on this website without any notice.
TRANSMISSION OF INFORMATION
  1. The user's attention is drawn to the fact that information transmitted via the Internet, including without limitation e-mail, is susceptible to monitoring and interception. The user is therefore discouraged from transmitting to CLIFTON ON SEA any information that may be confidential, proprietary, or sensitive. The user shall bear all risk of transmitting such information in this manner and under no circumstances will CLIFTON ON SEA be liable for any loss, harm, or damage suffered by the user as a result thereof. CLIFTON ON SEA reserves the right to request independent verification of any information transmitted via e-mail and the user consents to such verification should CLIFTON ON SEA deem it necessary.
  2. CLIFTON ON SEA requests that unsolicited information should not be sent to CLIFTON ON SEA. Any information or material sent to CLIFTON ON SEA will be deemed not to be confidential, unless otherwise agreed in writing by CLIFTON ON SEA.

CLIFTON ON SEA clients or their dependants shall not hold CLIFTON ON SEA, its employees, and affiliates or service providers, liable in any way whatsoever for injury, illness, or death of a, howsoever caused, including any defaults of any of its service providers in carrying out the travel, accommodation or tour arrangements of the client.
  5. CLIFTON ON SEA, its employees, and affiliates or service providers shall in no way be held liable for any losses or additional expenses incurred, or claims based on diminished value, due to any acts of God, alterations to schedules, overbooking, weather, strikes, war, quarantine, epidemics, pilferage, customs or immigration regulations, or any other acts or circumstance out of the control of CLIFTON ON SEA.
  6. The client furthermore indemnifies and holds blameless CLIFTON ON SEA, its employees, and affiliates, service providers, from all liability for any and all claims whatsoever and howsoever arising, without limitation from any claim, including any consequential loss claim, arising from any delay, loss or damage to property or illness or death arising from any cause whatsoever related to or occurring during the tour.
SEVERABILITY
  1. These Terms and Conditions of Use constitute the entire agreement between CLIFTON ON SEA and you, the user of this website. Any failure by CLIFTON ON SEA to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms and Conditions of Use shall in no way constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
  2. In the event that any term or condition of the use of this website is not fully enforceable or valid for any reason, such term(s) or condition(s) shall be severable from the remaining terms and conditions. The remaining terms and conditions shall not be affected by such unenforceability or invalidity and shall remain enforceable and applicable.
